Wuhan, also called "City on Rivers", is the capital of Hubei province and its political, economic and cultural center. The city is divided into three parts by Han River and Yangtze River, which are known as "Three Towns" that refer to Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang. Wuhan is also the cradle of Jingchu culture and thus rich in characteristics of Jingchu culture.
