In the first spring of the 1960s, Chinese navy are commissioned to produce a kind of self-made battleship  with an incoming name as “Sea Eagle”.Under the leadership of Feng Tao, a commissariat, who is in charge of the project, a fierce combat is going on whether sticking to the new policy of being self-independent and self-reliant or find a way out under the support of Soviet Union, Eventually, after strenuous efforts of the working class and all technicians, a new and hi-tech brand of battleship is successfully produced in the second spring of the 1960s. This is another story of Chinese’s spirit of self-independence.
