The knee technique is the main technique in Thai Boxing, called shittsui. It is a fatal weapon in closed combat. It is very effective for either attack, or defence, or counterattack. Because the knee is very firm, and it can be used to attack quickly in a short distance, it is very powerful, appears and disappears mysteriously, it is impossible to defend effectively.
