Step training of san shou Steps first, then hands, nothing resulted from combating by hands only. In San shou, it is steps that keep your body move backward or forward, to left or right. Flexible and agile steps can not only control the body's and maintain balance but also offense and defense in a favorable position. Careful study and training is good to improve the combat capability. The followings are tips of training combat steps. Step Forward: raise the left foot and step forward, at the same time, the right foot quickly lands close to the left foot. Step Backward: raise the right foot and step backweard, at the same time, the left foot quickly lands close to the right foot. Side step: the left foot step sidely to the left, the right foot quickly lands close to the left foot. Inside Step: the sole of the left foot wring 90 degrees steadly and step to left, then shift the bodyweight leftward, then the right foot quickly lands close to the left foot. So the body turns right to 90 degrees. Cover Step: Step the right foot forward acrossing the left foot, the left foot quickly lands close to the right foot. Skip step: the right foot pedal to the left foot together, while lift left knee and step forward, then restore combat style. Click Step: Jump(feet) and land the left foot, raising the right knee and then land, restore to combat. Step changing: Jump and land the feet acrossingly. This is single-step exercises.
