A perfect spoken ability is based on a good pronunciation and tone. There are three tips. First is to learn the pronunciation through words. It doesn¡¯t mean to remember the spelling of the words. It is to practice pronunciation through listening to the words learners are often used in communication. Second is to know the changes in the phrase. Third is to learn the tone through sentences.
Imitation is the skill which can access learners¡¯ speaking to be more native. When doing this, learners speak exactly the same as the people do in the film and try to analogize the feelings as what the characters in the drama felt. And next time when learners need to express similar ideas in real life, they just need to speak what they have been performed and rehearsed in the mind.
And here is also an updated version of imitation exercise. It is called "shadowing". In doing so, learners ought to read the material at the same time with the speaker and try to detect the difference while the speech is going. Then, repeat until it is in consistency with the original resource. Shadowing is an upgraded version of imitation. It is the live imitation which learners have to do along with the original soundtrack. Movies are recommended simply because learners can have the contents of what is said in the view. It is very good to shadow some simple films which tell a story happened in real life. With the script in hand, learners can read it after having watched the film once and had a good knowledge of it. If the film is different from the soundtrack, learners could repeat it until an exactly pronounced sound is uttered.
