During the period of China's Resistance War Against Japanese Aggression, a company commander of Kuomintang, Dong Ziming escorts the weapons used in the war to Nanjing by order. With the weapons safely arriving at the destination, Dong Ziming is granted by his superior a medal "Order of Blue Sky and White Sun with Grand Cordon". However, knowing that what he escorts with great hardship is not weapons but contraband, he starts to investigate the case to prove his innocence.
