Tengchong Rehai(hot sea) is a famous scenic spot of
geothermal landscape in Yunnan province. The scenic
spot has 64 active areas of geothermal scenes; 80-odd thermal springs with the highest temperature of 96.3 centigrade. Currently, over 10 scenic spots have been developed.
Tengchong Volcanoes are the most concentrated, spectacular and characteristic young volcanic groups in China. Within more than 1,000-square-kilometer land, 97 volcanoes are distributed. It’s the largest number of volcanoes in one single place in China. The number of volcanoes contributes a wonder of dormant volcanoes in China.
