     Hand-to-hand combat (free fighting) is the ultimate test of one's unarmed combat skills.  Hong Style Taijiquan's movements are identical to actual combative applications and consist of very simple, yet effective, techniques. Although there may be few Taijiquan practitioners today adept in taijiquan's combative skills, this disc reveals some of the core concepts and techniques to benefit all Taijiquan practitioners. This is not to be missed by Taijiquan practitioners who wish to achieve even higher levels of combative skills. Mr. Hong's grandstudent, Mr. Li Zhujun, explains the core combative applications and techniques with his students: Mr. Wu Zhaoguang, Jiao Shengli and Song Juhui (finishers within the top 20 and final 16 in CCTV-5's Wulin Congress Chen-style Taijiquan competition).
