Small Frame, also called as New Frame in the book of Chen Ziming, is a routine which was passed down by the master Chen Youben, a representative of Chenjiagou several hundreds of years ago. Small Frame is a practice of Yi, Qi movement and spirit preservation. “Small isn’t small, large frame isn’t large.” It can be practiced small and large both, a practice of small frame is the immanent of fist practice, not only its outside frame, the small frame must move in proper sequence, rather than accomplish in an action.
