Lu Wenting, the star in the movie, is an efficent doctor of absolute integrity. She devotes herself to get rid of the sufferings of her patients but gets a small salary and lives in a shabby apartment,about which she never complains. After work, she has to do a lot of housework, also keeps her busy during her spare time. In spite of her poor living condition, she always blames herself for not giving more to others.
